Goût de France / Good France 2019: Registration for participants is now open [fr]
Goût de France / Good France returns on March 21, 2019 for the world’s biggest event to French gastronomy in over 150 countries!
This fifth edition of Goût de France / Good France will have over 5,000 chefs across 5 continents to participate in culinary events celebrating responsible cooking. This year, the region of Provence will be in the spotlight and will be showcased during events in France and around the world, including the Philippines.
The biggest French dinner in the world returns, in the Philippines and all over the world, this March 21, 2019! This international event, which was first launched in 2015, was organized following the inclusion of the “Gastronomic Meal of the French” in the UNESCO World Intangible Heritage list.
The objective is to celebrate French cuisine, its traditions, and its values during a grand gastronomic evening on the same date, all over the world.
3,000 restaurants (of which 18 were in the Philippines) in 150 countries joined this event in 2018.
This March 21, several thousands of chefs will cook for the planet by creating a French menu with four acts using seasonal and environmentally-friendly products - a truly unique occasion to savour France!
The only obligation for your restaurant will be to offer your clients on March 21, 2019, and in the days after if you wish, a menu inspired by French cuisine.
To participate, simply register, free of charge, on the website https://us.france.fr/en/campaign/gout-france-good-france by completing the registration form (in French or in English) and then indicating your menu “à la française” in the dedicated space in the form.
Deadline of registration: March 18, 2019

For all questions concerning your registration or the event that will be organized by the Embassy of France to the Philippines as part of Goûte de France / Good France, do not hesitate to contact:
Mr. Martin Macalintal
Audiovisual Attaché, Service for Cooperation and Cultural Affairs
While leaving you free to use your creativity, your proposed menu proposal, in four acts, should be based on recipes inspired by French savoir-faire. With a particular focus on responsible cuisine, each menu will present dishes using less fat, sugar and salt, with great concern for “good food” and the environment.
Fresh, seasonal, environmentally-friendly, and locally-produced products will allow you to combine your own culinary tradition with French cuisine.
Goût de France / Good France will benefit from an international communication plan enabling all participating chefs to promote their cuisine and savoir-faire throughout the world with the active support of embassies, Atout France, and media partners.
All participating restaurants and their chefs will enjoy high public visibility through the French Embassy’s website (https://ph.ambafrance.org), traditional media, and social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
Do you live in the Philippines? Feel free to talk about Goût de France / Good France! Let a nearby restaurant (that might be interested to join) know about this global gastronomic event.
In March 2019, we will inform you of the list of participating restaurants in the Philippines.
