PhilFrance Scholarships for AY 2017-18

The Embassy of France in the Philippines is pleased to offer the following scholarship programs for the academic year 2017-2018.

All applications must be submitted through http://www.philfrance-scholarships.com/
Applications sent through other channels (paper, email, etc.) will not be accepted, and therefore considered invalid.

PhilFrance Scholarships

The current application session is closed for the January 2018 intake. A call for applications for the September 2018 intake will open in November 2017. Please watch out for our announcement.

CHED-PhilFrance Scholarships

The Commission on Higher Education and the French Embassy provide financial support to faculty and non-teaching staff currently serving in a higher education institution, who wish to study in France for a graduate degree. The current application session is limited to PhD programs for the January 2018 intake.

Eligibility criteria

- Be employed by a CHED-recognized Philippine institution of higher learning
- Be a Filipino citizen
- Not be more than 40 years old for applicants to Doctoral degree programs by the time you begin your degree
- Hold at minimum a Master’s degree (for applicants to Doctoral degree programs)
- Demonstrate strong academic record
- Demonstrate knowledge or expertise that would prepare them adequately for successful study and research in a specific graduate program
- Be in good health and of good moral character
- Have no pending criminal charges, and must not have been convicted for violation of any Philippine Law
- Fulfill all the Terms and Conditions of the grant, including a return service obligation

Doctoral programs at Sciences Po are eligible for the CHED-PhilFrance Scholarships

Sciences Po’s PhD programs are eligible for CHED-PhilFrance applicants, as part of the French government scholarship program of the Embassy of France to the Philippines and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

Interested candidates must apply separately and simultaneously to Sciences Po and to the CHED-PhilFrance Scholarships.
