The jury is therefore pleased to distinguish in the first place the project submitted by the NGO Anak-TNK Foundation which receives a financial support of PHP 300 000 granted by the Embassy of France in the Philippines and Micronesia.

The project consists of setting up waste management and collection equipment in all of the Foundation’s sites. This project is accompanied by an education and training component on environmental issues and waste management as well as an inclusion component with the creation of metal support frames by Foundation youth graduates in metalworking.

Secondly, the jury decided to distinguish another project, that of the NGO Phil’Rouge, which receives a financial support of PHP 100 000 granted by the Embassy of France in the Philippines and Micronesia.

The project "Phil’Book" aims to renovate the library installed in the slum of Sawata to welcome children in a place where they feel good and safe. They would come by age group (3 to 5 years / 6 to 9 years and 10 to 12 years) and could play various board games, work on the various activities classified by theme and read books to boost their skills.

The Embassy would like to congratulate the two nominated NGOs. It thanks all other participating NGOs for their respective projects and wishes them a good success in their actions.
