Visit of Senator Olivier Cadic to the Philippines (February 17-21,2023)
Senator Olivier Cadic is a member of the Senate for French citizens living abroad and is the Vice-President of the Foreign Affairs, Defense and Armed Forces Committee of the French Senate.
The Senator visited Manila and Cebu from February 17 to 21 and held exchanges in the Senate, the economic field, the education sector, and the French community in the Philippines.
In Cebu, the Senator met with Mr. Michael Lhuillier, Honorary Consul of France in Cebu, the director of Alliance Française de Cebu Mr. Gauthier Carol and the Franco-Philippine Chamber of Commerce.
Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri welcomed Senator Cadic at the Philippine Senate in Manila, who was invited to observe the plenary session. Senator Cadic also had a lunch meeting with Senators Ronald dela Rosa, JV Ejercito, Sherwin Gatchalian, Grace Poe, and Joel Villanueva.
In Manila, the Senator also visited Alliance Française de Manille and Lycée Français de Manilla (Eurocampus).
