Ambassador Marie Fontanel presented her credentials to Mr. Wesley Simina, President of the Federated States of Micronesia.
Marie Fontanel, Ambassador of France to the Philippines, made her first visit to the Federated States of Micronesia from July 1 to 3, 2024.
On July 2, she presented her credentials to Wesley Simina, President of the Federated States of Micronesia. She then met President Simina in the presence of Foreign Minister Lorin S. Robert and his team. The ambassador also exchanged views with her resident counterparts in the country.
These exchanges provided an opportunity to strengthen knowledge of the country’s situation, particularly in its regional context, and to explore avenues for bilateral cooperation.
