Ambassador Marie Fontanel presented her credentials to Hilda Heine, President of the Marshall Islands.
Marie Fontanel, Ambassador of France to the Philippines, made her first visit to the Marshall Islands between July 3 and 6, 2024.
On July 4, she presented her credentials to Hilda Heine, President of the Marshall Islands. She exchanged views with President Heine and members of her Cabinet, in particular on environmental protection and the fight against climate change. They also discussed university and language cooperation projects, as well as sports.
The ambassador also met with the NGO WUTMI, committed to combating violence against women.
She also exchanged views with her resident counterparts in the country.
