Visit of Senator Fabien Genet to the Philippines (August 15-16, 2023) [fr]
Mr. Fabien Genet, Senator for Saône-et-Loire, travelled to the Philippines from August 15 to 16 to meet Senate President Migz Zubiri, whom he had met when a delegation of Philippine senators visited France.
Together, they discussed bilateral cooperation between France and the Philippines as well as parliamentary diplomacy, with the prospect of a forthcoming visit by the French Senate to the Philippines.
Senator Genet then received the honours of the Philippine Senate, which is currently in session, and exchanged views with most of the Philippine senators present.
Finally, during a meeting with Senator Loren Legarda, Senator Genet had the opportunity to review cooperation in the fight against climate change and cultural cooperation between our two countries.
