Established in 1966, SEARCA is a regional organization engaged in the development of research and education programs in the field of agriculture.

Manila 2019 to 2050: Towards sustainable urban development (April 24)
In 2019, the Embassy of France to the Philippines and Micronesia will organize a series of events on the theme “Manila 2050: Towards sustainable urban development.” For its first edition on April 24, a forum on waste and water management in Metro Manila will take place at the Institute of Environmental Science and Meteorology of the University of the Philippines.

ADB, AFD commit to providing $5 billion in cofinancing in the next 3 years
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the French Development Agency (AFD) have agreed to increase their cofinancing commitment from $3 billion in the past 3 years to $5 billion in the next 3 years, allowing them to scale up their joint development efforts in the Asia Pacific region.
