France and the Philippines enhance cooperation in the dairy sector

French Minister for Agriculture and Food Julien Denormandie and Philippine Agriculture Secretary William Dar have signed a joint declaration affirming the two countries’ commitment towards the development of the dairy sector.

As part of the agreement, the two governments commit to facilitating linkages between French and Filipino dairy producers, agri-food companies, importers, and distributors, as well as strengthening technical and trade cooperation in the development of public policies in the area of food security, with a particular emphasis on the dairy sector.

The joint declaration was signed within the framework of a bilateral agreement promoting French-Philippine cooperation, trade, and multi-stakeholder partnerships in the sectors of agriculture, fisheries, and food, signed in Manila in 2017.
